Mind/Body Maintenance Massage
Designed for regular massage clients seeking a "full body" massage. If you don't have any particular pain or areas of concern to work on, but want to have a more relaxing-oriented massage, select this option. This session may incorporate aromatherapy, soothing massage techniques, craniosacral therapy, more time on feet, scalp, and neck, etc - the goal is to get you out of your head, provide the traditional benefits of massage (improved circulation, blood pressure, dopamine/serotonin production, immune system support, etc) and leave you refreshed and ready to enjoy a nice long nap when you get home!
Massage therapy is the practice of manipulating the soft tissues of the body to promote relaxation and healing. Massage therapists use a variety of techniques to achieve these goals, and the type of massage they use will vary depending on the client’s needs. Swedish massage is the most common type of massage, and it uses long, flowing strokes to promote relaxation and ease muscle tension. Deep tissue massage is a more intense form of massage that is used to target specific areas of muscle tension. Sports massage is a type of massage that is designed to help athletes recover from injuries and improve their performance.
Massage therapy can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions, including headaches, back pain, and stress. Massage therapists must have a thorough understanding of the human body in order to be effective in their work. They must also be able to tailor their treatments to the individual needs of each client.
The benefits of massage therapy are many and varied. Massage can help to relieve pain, improve circulation, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. It can also help to improve range of motion and flexibility, and to reduce the risk of injuries. Massage therapy is an important part of any holistic health care plan. It can be used as a stand-alone treatment, or in conjunction with other modalities such as acupuncture, physical therapy, or chiropractic.
If you are considering massage therapy, be sure to find a qualified and experienced practitioner. When you receive a massage, you should feel relaxed and rejuvenated. If you have any pain or discomfort during the massage, be sure to tell the therapist so they can adjust their techniques accordingly. Massage therapy is a safe and effective way to promote relaxation and healing. It can be an integral part of a healthy lifestyle, and it can help you achieve a sense of balance and well-being.
