MEET THE FOUNDER, JANELLE COOPER

Kinetic Restoration began with one massage therapist in 2020. Owner/Founder Janelle Cooper began her career in health & wellness in 2015 after earning her personal training certification. She went on to gain advanced knowledge of injuries and complex conditions while working with patients at a physical therapy clinic. Janelle noticed the improvement that many people have with focused soft tissue work and decided to attend the Advanced Fuller School of Massage. She completed the 650 hours of training in 2019 and knew she would never fit in the spa working environment. She started her own practice, working with patients from a local chiropractic clinic and people she met from working in local gyms and and friends from North End Run Club. Her approach to massage earned her a reputation for providing a massage experience unlike any other, noting that it is rare to find someone who understands the body and delivers massage therapy with precision and effectiveness.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

Inspired by these accolades and driven by the desire to share her knowledge, Janelle made the decision to expand our team and teach the foundations of our massage technique to other aspiring massage therapists. We are proud to be recognized as a trusted educational resource, equipping therapists with advanced anatomy knowledge and clinical expertise. Through this process, we are able to extend our impact beyond the treatment room and help more individuals achieve optimal wellness.

As a company, we take pride in the professional development of our team. We are one of the few massage therapy clinics in Hampton Roads that prioritizes ongoing education and training for our therapists. Our massage therapy employees undergo regular training from top educators in the industry, empowering them to stay at the forefront of therapeutic techniques and best practices. Furthermore, we foster a culture of collaborative learning within our team, allowing our therapists to share their knowledge, practice techniques, and review challenging cases in-house.
